Welcome to my older baby photography page, where as a Bournemouth baby photographer I specialise in capturing the precious moments of your little ones as they reach important milestones in their lives.
This is also the page for you if you have missed the newborn stage and would like photos of your baby over 6 weeks. This is wonderful, natural, relaxed shoot and we might even capture a genuine smile.
My sitter session and first birthday session packages are specifically designed to document these significant moments and create lasting memories for you and your family.

Older Baby Photography
- Older Baby Photography Sessions are Suitable for babies over 6 weeks.
- The sessions include parents or sibling shots. Showing those beautiful family connections with baby
- I work from a home studio in Ferndown, Dorset, with all the home comforts, including parking. You will be made to feel at home and well looked after, time to sit back and relax.
- You can have full use of studio props.
- Once edited, your images will be uploaded to an online password protected gallery of images which you can share with family and friends.
- Your fully edited high resolution digital images will be delivered via digital download.

The sitter session
Sitter sessions are perfect for capturing your baby’s personality as they start to sit up on their own, typically between 6 and 9 months of age.
This is an exciting time as your baby begins to explore their surroundings and develop their own unique character.
I am an experienced Bournemouth baby photographer I am skilled at capturing those curious expressions and playful gestures that make this stage so special.
These sessions usually take place in my studio in Ferndown. If baby isn’t too steady sitting up we can pop them in a bucket, they usually love this!

The First Birthday session
The first birthday sessions with a Bournemouth baby photographer are a wonderful way to celebrate your child’s first year of life.
This milestone is a significant moment in both your life and your child’s life, and I understand the importance of capturing this momentous occasion.
I work closely with you to create a session that reflects your child’s personality and interests, creating images that you and your family will cherish for years to come.
The First Birthday Photography session can be…
- A classic studio portrait session using my studio ONE props. We can include, favourite toys, a wooden birthday cake and ONE bunting if you like.
- All the fun of a cake smash including all my ONE props. You provide the cake. I’ll do the cleaning 🙂
- On location in your favourite place with your favourite people, this can be at a location of your choice maybe the beach or New Forest. We can include grandparents too in this session.
