Congratulations to Katy and Guy for their wedding on 10th September at Katy’s family home near Dorking, Surrey
An email from Katy on honeymoon “Just a little note from malaysia to say thank you so so much for doing such a great job on our wedding day, Guy said he thought that you & Paul were fantastic and very sensitive to his stage fright! Thanks so much – the photos are wonderful, everyone loves them…..Thank you once again, we are so grateful of all your hard work and the amazing result.”
It was a fantastic setting for a wedding at their beautiful home with a marquee in the grounds, the weather was not the best but it stayed dry when it really mattered and certainly didn’t dampen spirits.
Katy ready and waiting to leave for the church.
The lovely Bride and Groom. The groom was very camera shy and the couple wanted no formal or posed photos so we shot in a reportage style capturing moments as they happened.
All the guests walked from the local village church up the lane to the family home where the grand marquee was situated, thankfully the rain stayed away at this point.
The inside of the marquee ready to receive it’s 160 guests.
beautifully decorated with home grown flowers from the gardens and each guest received a pot of jam and chutney, again homemade from the produce in the gardens, a really lovely personal touch much appreciated by the guests.
The marquee in all its glory.
It was challenging trying to fit all 160 guests into the front garden but I think we achieved it in the end.
All in all a lovely wedding and all the hard work and planning paid off. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Newton and a big thank you to my very able second camera and chauffeur for the day Paul Plumb.
